Admin - E-Mail Setup

Setting up your e-mail is easy and something you should setup and/or configure as early as possible.

Outlook Settings:
  From the tools>e-mail accounts tab, add a new e-mail account
  • Your name:  Enter your full name as you want it to appear in display to your customers
  • Your e-mail address:  Enter (Ex:
  • Incoming mail server (POP3):
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
  • Username:  Enter your assigned e-mail address (
  • Password:  Enter the new password you setup after having your account created (make sure you check the save password box)
  • Click on the More Settings tab
  • In the Outgoing Server tab: Place a check in the top box (my outgoing server (smtp) requires authentication)
  • Then ensure the top radio button is also checked or filled in (use same settings as my incoming mail server)
  • Click on the test account settings tab to make sure your setup is correct.  If you receive all green check marks, you're setup correctly
  • Call Richard if you have any questions
iPhone, Blackberry or other Smartphone Settings:

For the Blackberry, and from your e-mail setting, choose create a new address.  From there, all you need is the e-mail address we provided you and your password and the blackberry will learn the rest to setup your account on your phone.

E-Mail Account Reminder:

As mentioned in the employee handbook, your MWI e-mail account is not for you to receive daily horoscopes, to be used on dating or adult type sites.  Your e-mail address is provided to you for BUSINESS use only! 

There are plenty of free e-mail providers, such as gmail, yahoo, hotmail and more.  Please use these types accounts for personal traffic.

** Per your employee handbook, you are to courtesy copy (CC) or blind courtesy copy (BCC) Richard on any e-mail traffic to your customers during your 90 day probationary period.
